Established 2017

The BahrHaus International Art Project began officially in 2017 under the guidance and effort of the Bahr Family. The Family took possession of the historic downtown Wilmington property in the early 1980's when it was badly in need of a restoration. Since undergoing a massive renovation in the 1990's, the Bahr's have been amassing a unique collection of historic and contemporary artworks from around the world. With encouragement from the community and a burning passion for the Arts, it is with great pleasure that we have opened up a section of this Historic home (Phase 1) as a private gallery/museum, henceforth the GALLEREUM. It is our hope to make the house a cultural and world destination for the arts, as well as providing others an opportunity to view and own exquisite works from all over the world.
